Today Was a Total Brain Torture.

And I'm not even at the least bit kidding.

Here are the brain-wrecking activities:
a) Memorizing the countries in Europe for only 30 minutes or so.
b) Memorizing all those notes in Pinoi which were all about Rizal.
c) Geometry. Need further explanation? I didn't think so.
d) I.Q. Test
- I know, I.Q. tests only require stock knowledge but somehow I consider it a brain-wrecking activity since more or less 300 brain cells of mine were killed. :)) Here's what happened: I knew that Anna and I were on the same page of the test book. Then there was this specific logic, so I was analyzing it. After a while (which I think was 5 minutes or so), I saw that Anna was almost done and I was still on the same number. So there was I, very much clueless why I was still on the same problem for five minutes and still without answer. I later had the thought that maybe I stared at the blank space for 300 seconds which means my 300 brain cells vanished (a brain cell/second according to Anna :D) or I dozed off. Haha. :))

Ewan. Dala siguro ng stress?

Stress

Something really amusing happened today that I decided to blog even though my Geom, AP and Pinoi notebooks are calling me. Add the blank world map to that.

Anyway, here's the story: Health was our second to the last subject and we just had Chem. Obviously, we were tired, pressured and the like. Then Mrs. Dino came in and stared at us for a couple of minutes, looking mad and irritated. Most of us probably had blank stares since we did not have any clue why she was such in a bad mood. She told us to get a 1/4 sheet of paper which means she was giving us a pop quiz on something we barely knew. The blank stares increased and add frustration to that. She asked questions quickly and made us pass the papers even more speedily. Something she did caught our attention big time. What is that you ask? She tore our papers in front of us in half. No worries, your eyes are perfectly normal, you read right. :) We felt scared but then she asked us how we felt when she did that. There came the first clue. All of us started laughing to our disbelief of 'the act' that just happened. All of these just for our topic which was stress. Haha. Kainis no? Pero ang galing rin. Wala akong masabi. :))

I desperately want to blog now. Labo ba?

Wait, let me rephrase that.

I so so so want to write about something really significant but I can't. Or won't. Or whatever. And that something, I'm not even sure of what it is. My thoughts are jumbled up. And I'm not sure if I should write all those things here.

So let me state the obvious: This post is absolutely random.

Walang kwenta? Yeaah and it's fine with me. At least I kind of blogged.

I realized that . . .

After all these time, people can still surprise you.
- Positive? Negative? Surprising. Disappointing.

You can't have the best of both worlds. You can never have too many things.
- One is enough. And better. Be contented.

Think positive.
- Easy to say; hard to do.

These I should remind myself.

Loving Airports and Today

I was watching The Terminal last night and I realized how much I love airports. Just the thought of airports makes me happy. :) See? I don't why. Okay, okay, maybe I have a few reasons why I lurve it so much.

1. Most people in airports are happy, excited and the like, making me feel the same way too. :)
2. People there are always in a rush. It seems they have a lot ahead of them (I like feeling that way). Also, it's like they have no worries in life.
3. I love traveling, it's fun and educational at the same time. Plus, the experiences you get in other countries are incomparable.

I really love airports. :D

For the record, we don't have much homeworks and quizzes for tomorrow. Or maybe I'm just getting used to having 2+ quizzes and 3+ homeworks daily?

Third year na nga ako.

Mantras are helpful, don't you think? :)

A mantra is kind of similar to a motto, only it is made up of a word or two. (Did I get that right?) And we were asked to compose our first communication exercise on that and I enjoyed it. Uhm actually, at first, I hated the thought of writing something that should be meaningful early in the morning, but I realized that thinking of mantras or mottos to live by this year will really help us to do our best, try new things and never give up. Basically, ganyan naman yung mga mottos/mantras diba? :)

Remember I said I'm starting to like Geom? I'm kind of taking it back. It got so confusing but then maybe that's because I lack imagination for those planes, points, lines and space. Yeaah. Plus, time sucks, you know? Haha. Sinisi daw eh. It's because when I finally understood and had an answer on the optional problem in Trigo, it was already time to pass the papers. Sayang, I know. I needed the extra point pa man din. For Chem, I hate the last quiz. Screw my carelessness and stupidity. Oh diba, pano na yan it seems na I have problems with the three try subjects?

I guess it's time for me to use the mantra I chose. :)

Hot, hot, hot!

Did I say hot? Goodness, the first flag ceremony was held today and yeaah was it hot in the field. Imagine, the sun beaming down on you while wearing a long-sleeved uniform then it's crowded pa. Our classroom wasn't much help too. So hmm, how many more of this will we be experiencing?

That's all. I neither have much to say nor the time to do so, anyway. I have quizzes and homeworks to worry about. :)

It doesn't end there.

So yeah, I got my braces off for more than a week now and guess what's next? Yup, retainers and I got them yesterday. Free teeth no more! I hate the feeling of wearing these. Plus, when I talk, you can barely understand what I'm saying. Yeaaah. I have three months of putting these wires on 24/7 to look forward to.

Basically that's it. I hafta go now to uhm, study.

Hah. Study daw oh. Woshoo.

Junior for a Week

Yes, I'm officially a junior for exactly a week.

Guess how I feel.

Yeah . . .

I am TIRED. Not yet exhausted, maybe next week or the following weeks. Haha. :)) First weeks are usually for orientations, right? But in SHS, nah-ah. It only took a day or two for that. So yeah, believe me, we already had lessons, seatworks, homeworks and even quizzes. Surprise, surprise.

As usual, this year, there are changes. There are some teachers handling subjects you'd never expect them to. For instance, Mrs. Dino and Ms. Malayas teaching Health. :) Plus, every building in school has a name which is written in really big and bold signs. And of course, there are revisions in school rules. Everything else remained the same.

So, uhm, yeah, how's my section, Kamalayan? It's fun naman despite the uber hot classroom. :) I'll get back on this next time.

I'm starting to enjoy Geom. Actually, sort of. Some say Kamalayan is unlucky 'coz we have Mrs. Pedrosa but I don't think so. It seems Geom with Mrs. Dino is complicated and hard. I'm looking forward to Media Awareness especially in the fourth quarter. Ooh, popular lit! :) Plus, I think I'll enjoy the media log.

All in all, ayos naman. SA NGAYON. Haha. Oh, I can't wait for the sleepless nights to come! Not.

Yay, yay, yay! Long weekend! :D

* Remember the list? Scratch that na lang. Haha. :) Laaazy, I know.

Sulky? Yeah.

After a couple of times creating posts and later deleting what little I had written, finally, I pushed myself to write something and actually publish it.

So yeah, it's June already. Which means two more days and school is on. Summer must be really over, huh?

And I didn't even get to enjoy it that well. My summer, I mean.

Anyhoo, I changed my layout to uhm, yeah, well, not feel so grouchy about ending summer earlier than most people.

Wait, who am I am kidding? I already am grumpy. SIGH.

At least, one good thing happened to me. I am metal free. Haha. Yes, after 4 years of having braces, it was removed yesterday. And I wasn't even expecting it.

Tomorrow I'll probably create a list of the things I'll miss doing over the summer. That is if I won't get lazy. Haha.

Off I go. :)
